Learn To Sew Studio

  If I could give 10 stars, I would!! This place is an exceptional studio for learning how to sew! My daughter has been seeing Marie since the summer of 2025 and she has such a love and passion for sewing. My daughter looks forward to coming to the Sewing class every week. Every time my daughter leaves, she is joyful and has so many wonderful gifts and projects as a result of Marie's support! Marie is kind, creative, thoughtful, and always creates a very warm and engaging experience for the students. She also provides snack and water and makes sure that the children are well taken care of! Highly recommended this place!

  my daughter took a three day camp here and she absolutely loved it! They made the cutest stuff and she had so much fun. Thank you for a great experience

  My daughter has been taking sewing lessons for about 3 months now. Last week we had a friend visit us from out of state with his daughter and invited us to go to Disneyland with them but it fell on the day my daughter does sewing. We asked my daughter if she would rather go to Disneyland and miss sewing just this one week or not. She immediately said she would rather go to sewing class. We asked again to confirm "are you sure you don't want to go to Disneyland". Her response,
"no, I want to go to sewing class". It is an understatement to say that we are very happy with this class.

  Marie hosted our daughter's birthday party last weekend and it was wonderful! My daughter and her friends had the best time sewing their own bags. Marie was so thoughtful to get fabric that matched the theme of the party and even put up decorations to go with it. Most of the girls who attended had never used a sewing machine before and that was no problem. Marie and her staff helped all the girls learn effortlessly and they made the cutest bags. It was truly a great place to have our crafty seven year old's birthday party. We highly recommend this studio. Marie goes above and beyond to make it a special day.

  I pulled together a group of six ladies to do a "beginners" sewing class. We made a large tote bag and had the best time! Marie and her friend Terry were wonderful to work with.

They were prepared for us as we arrived, and even had cookies baked! They were great at introducing us to sewing and adjusting the lesson based on skillsets.

I would LOVE to do this again, it was a great price and a great time. Highly recommend!

Marie is so kind and patient with her students, and my daughter comes home with impressive projects! (Pillows, stuffies, clothes for stuffies, a skirt, the list goes on and on!) My daughter says that sewing class is her favorite part of the week Thank you, Marie!

  Marie's studio is simply wonderful ! My 10 year old daughter has enjoyed countless camps at Learn To Sew Studio. She's built so much sewing confidence, learned many new sewing skills and techniques, and just had a great time! Marie is patient, kind, and so knowledgeable. Her calm and patient personality makes for an awesome learning experience. I've been highly recommending her studio to as many friends as possible!

  Went to Learn to Sew Studios with some friends for a sewing lesson last Friday evening. Most of us had very limited sewing experience and Marie was so patient and kind helping us all learn this skill and make a beautiful bag. The environment was inviting and fun. Marie even made us delicious cookies! Great experience and looking forward to returning another time.

  This was such a positive experience! My son wanted to learn how to sew for a class he's taking and we bought his first sewing machine. The owner taught him how to use it and he made a cool bag in the one session!
She was so helpful and kind. Was a 1:1 session and her studio is very inviting. Would be a great place to get a group of kids or adults together for a group session too.
Highly recommend for anyone looking to learn how to sew from a kind thoughtful teacher in a great atmosphere.

  Learn to sew was great find. My daughter took a private lesson with the one and only Marie in her new location conveniently close to the beach in Carlsbad. She sewed me a pillow that I will cherish for a lifetime. I will recommend learn to sew studio to all my friends.
